The wizard leads the absent voter through a series of easy steps to identify him or herself, affirm his/her voter status and type, and record contact information, legal voting residence, and current location. 

The system checks against eligibility and will either offer the correct ballot immediately or contact the election administrators for approval or rejection, depending on the procedures of the State.
